EAF would like to extend a huge thank you and farewell to the Foley/Wood family.

Georgie and Dan have been part of the club since the very beginning and have played a significant role in helping it grow into what it is today. Dan has served as Vice President and, year after year, has taken on the big job of organising our end-of-season trophies — something that takes a lot of time and effort behind the scenes.

Georgie has also been instrumental in supporting the club, particularly when it comes to coordinating travel for FNQ Titles and helping many families navigate the logistics of getting players to competitions. Both Georgie and Dan have always been willing to step in and help wherever needed — from training sessions and game days to regional tournaments.

Their children Benna, Lucas and Thomas have also been heavily involved in futsal over the years as players and coaches, proudly representing East Arnhem Futsal at regional and FNQ titles. The Foley/Wood family’s commitment and contribution to the club has been incredible, and they will certainly be missed.

On behalf of East Arnhem Futsal players, families and committee, thank you for everything you have done for the club. We wish the Foley/Wood family all the very best for the next chapter. 💙⚽
